Requirements For Sending In Test Reports For Marking
Wednesday, 30th December 2015 The following requirements apply to all Milking Machine Test Reports sent in for marking:
ï‚· Six complete and correct reports are required to assess your testing ability. (Note: please only send photocopies of test reports as they are not returned to the tester).
ï‚· In the case of new Testers who have recently completed the training course, only one test report is to be submitted for marking initially. Once the marker has marked it as satisfactory, they will request an additional five tests to complete the marking process.
ï‚· All pulsators must be tested and recorded and digital printouts must include rate and ratio values for each pulsator. Please attach to your test papers 20% of the pulsator recordings for each machine tested.
ï‚· Of the six tests sent in for marking, no two can be from the same milking shed.
ï‚· All tests must be less than 12 months old.
ï‚· At least one farm dairy owner will be contacted to verify that the test has been carried out by the tester.
ï‚· All Milking Machine Tests must include recordings of the Vacuum Regulation Characteristics.
ï‚· Include or e-mail one passport style (head & shoulders) photograph to be used on your new Practising Certificate ID card. E-mail to [email protected]
ï‚· The fee to have your tests marked is $125.00 + gst and will be invoiced once we receive your Test Reports, or the first Test Report for new registrations.

ï‚· A milking machine test must be completed to satisfy the requirements of the NZ Milking Machine Testing Standards and Section 7.6 (1) a) of NZCP-1.
A complete Milking Machine test comprises:-
• Following, and completion of, the processes in the relevant flowcharts
• NZ Standard Test Report Form with all of the sections completed i.e. Part A, Part B (tests 1-24 inclusive), Readings & Standards table, Pulsation table and Vacuum Regulations Characteristics table
• Visual Faults Check List page completed
• Milking Machine Test Summary page completed
• Pulsation Data
