MPTA Draft Constitution - March 2025
Wednesday, 5th March 2025 The Incorporated Societies Act 1908 has been replaced by the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 (ISA 2022) and all existing Incorporated Societies must decide whether they are going to reregister their society and
get agreement from it's Members on changes to the Society’s constitution.
We belive that the best option for MPTA is to remain an Incorporated Society and so to reregister our Incorporated Society under the ISA 2022.
In doing this we need to ensure that our existing 'Rules' (now to be know as our 'Constitution') are updated to align with all of the requirements of the new Act. These mostly relate to administrative functions and we are in the process of updating these.
