Milking Machine Technician - Whakatane

Established in 2015 60/40 Milking is 100% New Zealand owned and operated. We are a leading player in the dairy industry servicing farms around the Bay of Plenty area.

Due to growth and upcoming work, we are looking for an experienced Milking Machine Technician or Qualified Plumber/Drain layer to join our team to help out with installation of dairy effluent. This role is a permanent 40hrs per week and we are looking for an honest, hardworking, genuine, motivated team player.

Your day-to-day role will have you working on farm, maintaining, and repairing our customer's milking machines, helping with the installation of dairy effluent as well as problem-solving in time-critical situations.

The successful applicants shall have:
- experience in working on milking machines
- experience helping with installation of dairy effluent
- an understanding of general engineering and installation
- an understanding of general plant (mechanical) servicing
- be able to be part of our on-call roster 1 in 4 weeks.
An MPTA Machine Testing Certificate would be an advantage.
